Top Sandbox Games Performance on iOS in France: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the sandbox gaming category on iOS in France saw varied performances among the top apps. According to Sensor Tower data, these games experienced shifts in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Roblox from Roblox Corporation started the quarter with a strong weekly revenue of around $257K, which gradually declined to approximately $8.6K by the end of March. Weekly downloads began at about 44.6K and saw a decrease to 25.7K, while active users fluctuated, starting at 1.5M and ending the quarter at approximately 1.3M.

One State RP: Role Play Online by CHILLBASE LTD showed an increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $70.8K in late March. Downloads rose from 11K to 13.9K, despite a drop in active users from 21.5K to 11.2K throughout the quarter.

Minecraft: Dream it, Build it! by Mojang maintained steady weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $16.3K at the end of March. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 1.7K, while active users showed a slight increase, ending at 38.5K.

ZEPETO: Avatar, Connect & Live from NAVER Z Corporation experienced a gradual increase in revenue, reaching about $12.7K by the end of the quarter. Downloads started at 2.7K and ended at 3.4K, with active users growing from 57.6K to 50.5K by March.

Finally, IMVU: Fun 3D Avatar Chat Game saw a slight increase in weekly revenue, finishing the quarter at around $7.7K. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 1.2K and closing at 1.3K, while active users varied, ending at 1.6K.
